A couple of young people were recently the victims of some serious road rage from an alleged "combat veteran."
The pair, who were identified as Lyfe Engelhart and boyfriend Brandon Vega, had been on their way to an area south of Colorado Springs for a hike when they pulled over to speak with a motorist who had been allegedly tailgating them.
That's when the furious driver approached the car and immediately began screaming at Vega, who was behind the wheel.
"Why were you riding my ass?", Vega asked the seriously irate man.
"Because you wouldn't get the f**k out of my way, I don't care if you've got the WRX," the man responded before delivering a punishing blow to Vega's face.
Despite Vega remaining calm, he was hit twice more in the face before the assault was over.
Engelhart later posted a video of the altercation to her Facebook account. "So Brandon and I thought it was the perfect day to go hiking up off Old Stage road when this as*hole started riding Brandon's as* up the narrow dirt road," she wrote of the encounter.
"Then when we parked he proceeded to assault him and say it was our fault - road rage at its finest ladies and gentlemen."
