Irv Gotti recently made an appearance at the Hot 97 studios with Funkmaster Flex.

During their conversation, Gotti spoke about the first time he and Ja Rule heard 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” record.

Doing his best Flex impression, he described turning on the radio at 7 o’clock in his office, hearing Flex say, “I got the new…” So, Gotti and Rule decided they had to listen to it.

As soon as the beat hit, Gotti said, “Oh God. F***** Dre!”

Then Flex brought the beat back, and Gotti remembered saying, “Alright! The beat is f***** nuts! He may have one. But let’s see if he connected the dots lyrically.”

As soon as 50 dropped the bars, Gotti said he turned to Rule and everyone in the office and said to them, “Buckle up, we have a major problem. This record...and he’s with Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre, and f***** Eminem.”

As history goes to show, Gotti proved to be correct; the beef between Ja Rule, 50 Cent, and Eminem grew to epic proportions, and they still aren’t on the best of terms.

Just a few days ago, Fif’ called out Gotti on Instagram after the Murder Inc. executive spoke with The Breakfast Club about bringing his label back through a deal with 300 Entertainment.

Fif’ took shots at Irv’s girl, calling her a call girl and said he would slap him.

According to XXL.com, 50 wrote, “You think people can’t see you soft IRV. You say you beat the Fed’s no, you never did nothing you fucking punk. I will slap the shit out you, and you will say thanks. May I have another. LOL”
