Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is having a dream year in his first official season. The 25-year-old rookie is leading the American Leagues in all three major hitting categories, with 21 home runs, 47 RBI and a .344 batting average, heading into Monday's [June 12] game in L.A. And while the 6'7" slugger has been doing it through all of 2016, over the weekend he particularly impressed, launching a couple of balls over the left field wall that set the bar for the rest of the Majors.

Judge helped the 1st place Yanks along towards their 14-3 slaughter of the Baltimore Orioles with 4 hits in 4 at-bats that were good for 4 runs and 3 RBI on Sunday. Two of those hits were 6th and 7th inning home runs. One of those home runs traveled 496 feet to become the longest home run hit by any player this season, and the furthest since ESPN began tracking HR distance in 2009.

The mammoth blast came one day after Judge set the Statcast record for the fastest home run to ever leave the ballpark when he slammed Orioles pitcher Chris Tillman for a 1st inning jack that cleared the field with a velocity of 121.1 MPH.
