Former MMA star "War Machine" was sentenced to life with the chance of parole for brutally beating his then-girlfriend, adult star Christy Mack, and her friend Corey Thomas in 2014. War Machine, real name Jon Koppenhaver, was found guilty of charges including sexual assault and battery with a deadly weapon on Monday (June 5) and he will be eligible for parole in 36 years. At that time he will be 71 years old.
Christy Mack addressed the court on Monday ahead of Koppenhaver's sentencing, where she told the court that she feared he would come after her if he was ever let out of jail.
