Kathy Griffin will need a new place to celebrate the New Years.

CNN announced Wednesday (May 31), they will be letting go the comedian who appears on the network's New Year's Eve program after the entertainer posted a photo of herself holding a bloody, severed fake head of President Donald Trump.

Griffin and Anderson Cooper have co-hosted CNN's "New Years Eve Live" from New York's Times Square for the past ten consecutive years. "For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in," Cooper tweeted. "It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate."

"CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year's Eve program." Tweeted CNN's communication account. Since the posting the photo Tuesday, Griffin has since apologized to her fans and Donald Trump on Instagram. "I beg for your forgiveness. I went too far. I made a mistake, and I was wrong."
