Various videos of an angry elder holding up departure before he was kicked off of a Newark, N.J. bound flight from Shanghai, China on Saturday night, May 20, show as he blows a fit over a seating related discrepancy, before the other passengers begin a chant calling for authorities to "Lock him up!"

According to one of the men who recorded the episode [identified as Clark Gredoña], the disruptive passenger, who wore one of President Trump's signature red "Make America Great Again" caps, blew his top because he couldn't get his way. "He insists that, because he couldn't get an upgrade, he's entitled to all three seats next to him even though they're assigned to somebody else," Gredoña wrote in a Facebook post he would put up after the incident. Gredoña recounted the livid passenger going so far as to berate "some female passengers and crew, calling one passenger 'Hillary' and 'lesbian.'"

The incident is reported to have occurred while United Airlines flight 187 was awaiting takeoff at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The man began to really turn up when he was told he would have to get off of the flight. When attempts to have him exit proved successful, all members were informed that they would have to deplane. He'd eventually decide to leave on his own accord and the flight would in due time arrive at Newark 8 hours late due to an unscheduled stopover to switch crews in San Francisco.
