Nicki Minaj has been quiet as of late but has been releasing singles to keep her name fresh in the music world. Now, the artist has revealed what she's been up to, making it clear that she has been doing charity work. The artist specifically has been donating to the development in a village located in India.
Via her Instagram, Minaj posted a video from the community and explained all of the things her charitable donations has gotten the village. Minaj said, "The money I've sent this village in India for the last couple of years [via my Pastor Lydia Sloley], has gotten them a Computer Center, a Tailoring Institute, a reading center, and 2 WATER WELLS." Minaj spoke on how many of us tend to take things like water for granted, saying "We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some ppl don't even have clear water. Blessings to India. Our work is far from done." Minaj also made another Instagram post focusing on the women of India, saying "I'm so proud of our sisters in India. God is so good. Their desire was to have water wells & places where they can worship, places where they can learn technology, computers, reading, etc. We're just getting started!"
The rapstress has also made headlines recently for helping to pay the college tuitions of some of her fans.
