LaVar Ball is fully aware that Boston and Los Angeles winning the top two picks of the 2017 NBA Draft sets his son Lonzo up for the best possible scenario, so far as marketability goes. They are two of the biggest markets in all of sports, and with the Lakers likely to pick him up, his stock in the city of his UCLA ala mater only looks to rise.

When asked during his Wednesday [May 17] appearance on Fox Sports 1's The Herd, whether he might be interested in re-pursuing talks with Nike, Under Armor and Adidas about an endorsement deal, he didn't turn the possibility down. But he made it clear that it sure as heck will cost them. "What they should've did is gave me a billion dollars and let me be on my way," Ball told host Colin Cowherd. "Now you know what? if they want to talk to me now, it just went up to $3 billion. Triple Bs -- billion, billion, billion."

Ball let his conditions he known on the same day that it was reported that sales of Lonzo's Big Baller Brand ZO2 prototype sneaker are nearing 600 orders. While the number would appear to be minuscule as compares to what the big brands push in a two week period, the nearly $300,000 he's made thus far, with less overhead to pay as an independent company, has many calling BBB's decision to go it alone a win.

"That's the only way they going to come at me," he said. "I'm already in the building. I don't need them for nothing, as you can tell."
