A new photo emerged of Chicago rapper Bump J after being released from prison this past week. He is seen in the picture standing with his older brother, Chitown Shake.
The photo shows Bump and Shake standing outside of a building with Bump on his cell phone. Both are seen wearing their Goon Squad sweatshirts.
The “Move Around” rapper was released from prison in Lisbon, OH this past week. He was serving a seven-year sentence after robbing a bank in Oak Park, Ill. in 2007.
In an interview with XXL Magazine, Bump explained that he has grown to be a better rapper due to his own personal growth and that things might not be too different since he was incarcerated in 2009.
“I think it won’t be much different than when I was out,” he explained last summer. “I’ve gotten better musically because I’m just a better man, mentally. So, I think hip-hop will love me just the same, if not more. People respect struggle and stand up niggas. I took my lick and never told, so I will always be respected as a man and that’s what’s important. Music has always been the easy part to me.”
