Last week, Kendrick Lamar released his album DAMN, and now it seem that the album could possibly pass Drake's More Life, which sold a record amount of 505,000 units.

According to Billboard, Lamar album is projected to sell around 500,000 album units in the week ending on April 20. Along with that, his latest project could end up with the largest first week in 2017 for any album so far. Although it was suggested that DAMN could debut with 500,000 units sold, Lamar will more than likely peak at 300,000. This would still be more than Drake's More Life, which began with 225,000 units sold.

Kendrick Lamar's DAMN could be another personal milestone for the Compton rapper if the album debuts at number one on the Billboard 200. Lamar's Untitled Unmastered sold 178,000 units in its first week, and To Pimp A Butterfly sold 363,000 units, with both of them debuting at number one as well.
