Nivea has pulled an advertisement for deodorant 48 hours after it was posted to Facebook.
The ad reads, "White is purity." It was immediately accused of racism and, in case anyone was struggling to understand the outrage the ad generated, simultaneously embraced by white supremacists.
Earlier this week, Pepsi faced backlash for an ad that featured a protesting Kendall Jenner seemingly solve police brutality. Pepsi likewise pulled the ad.
