In 2011, Gucci Mane was accused of pushing a woman named Diana Graham out of a moving vehicle. According to Graham, the rapper pushed her out of his moving Hummer because she refused to go to a hotel with him.
All of this happened after the rapper allegedly approached her at the mall and asked her to go to breakfast with him. She was down to go to breakfast, but when he attempted to take her to his hotel, that is when things escalated. She refused to go with Gucci, which led to him literally tossing her out of his Hummer. From there, Gucci was found guilty by a judge for the incident and was sentenced to six months in jail. Because of that incident, the rapper was sued by the woman for $60,000.
Graham filed a civil suit against Gucci, saying that the rapper's actions against her resulted in pain and suffering, medical expenses, mental agony, and lost wages. The judgment was made against Gucci by default because the rapper failed to appear in court, and also submitted false testimony for the case. The judgment against the rapper ordered him to pay approximately $58,161.24 to Graham.
Since being hit with that lawsuit, Gucci has yet to pay and now may be facing some new consequences for lack of payment. According to a new court order, Gucci Mane is facing his property potentially being seized. On February 24, a judge hit the rapper with what is called a "Writ of Fieri Facias," meaning that the County Sheriff's Department could possibly seize the rapper's property, bank accounts, and cars to collect the debt. Of course, that will only happen if the rapper continues to refuse to pay the money he owes. All of this comes after Gucci Mane was released from federal prison for gun charges.
