One week after The Blaze suspended Tomi Lahren for publicly declaring herself pro-choice, the conservative media platform banned the spark-plug millennial host for good, the New York Post reported over the weekend.

Lahren drew praise from many of her opponents, but was heavily ridiculed by her own base when during an appearance on The View on March 20 she told the audience, “I am someone that’s for limited government, so I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government, but I think the government should decide what women should do with their bodies.” At some point in the hours that followed, Lahren released a tweet on social media that appeared to be aimed at those critical of her stance, reminding followers that her position comes from her "conservative" and "libertarian" values and stating that she will never apologize for being an independent thinker.

No official reason has been given for why the network decided to give Lahren the pink slip. There certainly was a backlash from it's viewers, and The Blaze owner Glenn Beck even addressed the matter personally when he challenged her claim to be libertarian by mocking her staunch support of President Donald Trump, in a tweet that read, “Wait, libertarian views? Help me out on Trump care, stimulus, and executive orders. Trump is anything but libertarian." But Lahren has refused to give a formal statement on her suspension and expulsion, and a most recent tweet would seem to suggest that her having plans to move on and exploit a new opportunity may be the only thing on her mind.

"Never do the envy, jealousy and insecure stuff," Lahren tweeted shortly after the report of her dismissal surfaced on Sunday, March 26. "Be the hustler, the well-wisher, the go-getter."
