In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club on the 20th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.'s passing, Faith Evans announced that she will be working on her biopic based on her 2009 memoir, Keep The Faith. Like the book, the film will cover her early life and successful R&B career with Bad Boy over the years.

“I’m the executive producer on it, and I’m working closely with the screenwriters," she said. "It’s definitely not going to be something other than what I would want to see. I like to be very tactful — but honest."

The biopic will also cover her tumultuous marriage with Biggie Smalls and his notorious (no pun intended) history of infidelity. While she speaks on her physical altercations with Lil Kim and other women, she insists that the two have since reconciled and that she does not intend to open old wounds, but simply speak her truth.

“I’m not trying to open up no old wounds, either. But if I do decide to show something that was in my book — for example, the situation with me and Kim — I was very clear this is what I felt then because of obvious reasons, but I don’t feel that way anymore,” she said.
