Future had the hip hop world buzzing after announcing the release of his fifth studio album only three days before he dropped it on Friday. On Thursday, the Atlanta rapper sat down with Beats 1 radio's Zane Lowe to talk his music and hint at more projects in the works.

One topic that came up was Future's Instagram account, which he famously wiped clean back in early January. That, Future told Lowe, was a decision he doesn't regret one bit.

"It was probably the best thing I ever done," said Future. "Cause I don't have to respond to certain things that's going on, even in my life."

"Social media can take up a lot of your life. I wanted to be able to give my fans all of me."
