Boosie Badazz finally cleared up the rumor about him saying the Gucci Mane released from prison was a clone.
He recently did an interview with the Drea O Show where he explained that a fake interview was released that included the false quote that started the rumor. The quote had him saying he was in the studio with Gucci who seemed like a different person. “Me and Gucci were never in the studio,” said Boosie. “I ain’t never talked to nobody about Gucci. That was just somebody trying to start forces with two people who got the street. That happen all the time in life. People try to throw crosses. To make people argue.” Boosie said he had just done a record for Gucci around the time that the fake interview was released.
Boosie hasn’t had the chance to see Gucci since he was released from prison. He later addressed the clone rumor more directly. “It’s basically somebody who wants to start a trend and who want to get people talking. That’s what people do,” he said. “A lot of people don't have nothing to do at home, nothing to do in life.” These same people might find putting Boosie against Gucci be a great way to bring attention to themselves [and] their blog, according to Boosie. That’s all he thinks the rumor was.
