Joe Budden finally explained why he walked out of his Hot 97 and Taxstone interviews.

He said the main reason he left Taxstone’s podcast was because of a difference in opinion over his alleged domestic violence incident with model Esther Baxter. Budden walked off the podcast when Tax rode him for not answering the question. “I’m not going to sit there and attempt to change someone’s mind. I’m gonna think what I think he gonna think what he think,” he said. Budden then explained why he left the recent Hot 97 interview after Ebro and Peter Rosenburg questioned him heavily on the way he fired Marisa Mendez from his show “I’ll Name This Podcast Later.”

“I was there for an interview. Once it appeared the interview was done. I left. I said goodbye to everyone the same way I just said goodbye to you. And I walked out,” said Budden while explaining his decision to leave the Hot 97 interview. The rapper continued in his theme of awkward interviews and jumped in front of the camera when Jack Thriller asked him about the Slaughterhouse album refusing the answer the question. Jack then challenged him on why he acts “sad” and weird in interviews. Budden says “it’s not true” and he doesn’t want his words to become click bait.
