A young man wearing a “Sons of Anarchy” vest was berated by a biker who was insulted by him having it on.
The biker approached him at a gas station and lectured him about why he shouldn’t be wearing that kind of a jacket. The guy said he received the jacket as a gift from his girlfriend and admitted that he wasn’t part of a real club. “You should be real careful wearing that,” the biker said. “I should take it from you right now but it’s the middle of daytime. I’m just letting you know though. You shouldn’t f**king wear that. Because you didn’t earn it. A lot of people that died to wear patches on the back of their vests.” The biker then said he was insulting the “Sons of Anarchy” by wearing the vest with no affiliation.
The guy responds by telling the biker that it’s “just a TV show.” The biker didn’t like that answer. “It’s a nice present from [your girlfriend] I get it, but for your own sake I’m giving you a freebie right now that you shouldn’t wear that. There’s a lot of guys out there that do ride for real clubs. This conversation would go a lot different [with them],” he said. The biker insinuated that the man would have gotten beat down badly if he ran into the wrong crew of bikers. The confrontation ends with him taking off the vest and putting it in his back seat. It seems like things could have gone a lot worse if the young man had reacted with disrespect.
