In a flashback clip from 2008, check out Ja Rule talking about the old Murder Inc "supergroup" with Jay Z and DMX and why it never happened.

The group recently reunited for the first time in 15 years. The three were spotted together at an event. Back in 1999, the three rappers were supposed to record an entire album together, but it never happened. Their grouping resulted in the creation of two songs including "Murdergram" from the "Streets is Watching" soundtrack and "It's Murda" from Ja Rule's "Venni Vetti Vicci." Fans never got what could have been a game-changing album. Instead, all three of these men went on to become 3 of the biggest rappers of all time. They released classic singles and albums and dominated mainstream hip-hop for almost a decade.
