Chief Keef and his rise to popularity from being at the forefront of the Chicago Drill music scene was acknowledged by most media outlets for the viral videos of him and his crew displaying guns with extended clips to go along with their realistic tales of street life as teenagers in Chicago. Everyone from Gucci Mane to Hollywood actors and actresses have acknowledged the presence of Chief Keef. However, BET is not on board as the network has allegedly had a ban on anything Chief Keef-related for some time now. In an Instagram video, Chief Keef made it clear where he stands with BET, saying "Man f*ck BET awards. Ima let y'all know right now if we go to the BET awards, chains getting took, b*tches gettin' f*cked, babymommas gettin' f*cked." Bow Wow, who served a host for BET's '106 & Park' took to Instagram and confirmed that BET banned Chief Keef when responding to a fan by saying "BET banned Sosa. I was fighting to get sosa on 106; it was a no go from the uppers. They really blackballed him from mainstream it's crazy." Watch the clip above.
