Popcaan quickly delivered a response record to Mavado's diss track "Funeral," where he frequently refers to Poppy as gay and calls him a snitch against Vybz Kartel. The "Unruly Boss" decided to put out some heat of his own with the track "RPG," where he calls Mavado the Jamaican Meek Mill, suggests the "Gully God" has homosexual relations with DJ Khaled, and says it's nothing to put him in a grave, all of which are common in dancehall diss tracks where nothing is off limits.
“Boy take one month fi find tune / A what happen to Jamaican Meek Mill / Me clip them pack up like yellow house and none a them don’t want refill,” Popcaan deejay over a beat produced by NotNice. “Funny god mi no take press / Gunshot me send me no send text / Bwoy a feel up DJ Khaled and a tell badman him a the best.”
Some dancehall fans think the song is weak while others are supporting Popcaan for holding his own against Mavado who is a seasoned veteran from his Gully/Gaza feud with Vybz Kartel back in the mid-2000s. Popcaan has also gained more fans and notoriety from his collaborations with Drake.
