Singer and actress Zendaya will portray Mary Jane Watson, one of Spider-Man’s most infamous love interests in the upcoming “Spider-Man: Homecoming” film.
Zendaya was first confirmed to be a part of the movie in March. It was recently announced that she would be taking on the role of Mary Jane. The role has been played in past Spider-Man films by Kirsten Dunst and Shailene Woodley. However, the latter of the two was completely cut out of her film. This new movie will also feature Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Holland wowed fans with his portrayal of the wall-crawler in “Captain America: Civil War.”
Michael Keaton will play Vulture in the upcoming film and Robert Downey Jr. will once again reprise his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man. Donald Glover will also have a role in the film, but it is not confirmed who he will play.
