Over the weekend it turned deadly for one person following Brooklyn rapper, Maino’s Saturday show in Ottawa Canada. According to reports, 33-year-old, Omar Rashid-Ghader, a member of a well-known Crip subset was shot and fatally wounded outside Sentral Nightclub directly following a reportedly drama free performance by Maino.
On Saturday, Maino hit the stage in Ottawa for his performance at Sentral and everything appeared to be all good, until shots rang out inside the venue at around 3 am, sending club goers running from the scene. Ghader, an aspiring rapper as well as a member of the notorious South-End based Ledbury-Banff Crips, died at the scene after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. Ottawa police are now looking for 28-year-old Mustafa Ahmed concerning Ghader’s death, and they believe him to be armed and dangerous.
