A lot of old wounds and unresolved issues have resurfaced since the one year anniversary of Chinx Drugz's passing last month. Most recently, his widow Janelli Pickens was drawn into the fray, responding on Wednesday [June 8] to accusations that she was involved in his murder.
Pickens came across a comment from an Instagram poster who happened to know about an affair the rapper had, of which the poster [@Komiss994] claimed Pickens knew and sought to "set up Chinx to be killed cuz he was planning a future where Janeli was not included." Pickens would fire back in an effort to clear her name.
"If he wanted to divorce me or leave he would've and could've nobody was forcing him to stay," Pickens [@TheRealNelli_] responded. "He knew he f***ed up when she came out pregnant n he came crawling right back! Get ya f***ing facts right and an identity before you discuss me."
The rumor surfaced a day after French Montana appeared on The Wendy Williams show. Before concluding with the interview, Wendy checked in on where French stood with Chinx's mother, who had put out a public demand that French and P Diddy see her to answer for her sons death. Pickens brought French into her response, clarifying that she and French had been on speaking terms following her husbands death and backing his claim that he didn't know Ms. Veronica Clinton.
