Jersey City rapper, Albee Al, who told VladTV beat a murder case where he was facing 100 years, dodged death on Tuesday night [June 8], when he was grazed in a double shooting. Albert "Albee Al" Robinson, 27, refused medical attention after suffering a bullet wound to the forearm just before 7 p.m. Robinson would gloat about escaping a life-threatening injury three hours later when he took to Snapchat, stating, "Bullets must be blanks 'cause they keep missing."
The shooting occurred on Baldwin Avenue and Rock Street, with a second victim having been hit a block away. The unnamed victim was more seriously injured, sustaining a graze wound to the lower back. He is being treated at the Jersey City Medical Center. According to Jersey City police spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill Robinson is said to have left the scene and returned later on. An investigation is on-going.
In 2014 Robinson was acquitted of the 2010 killing of Jermaine Williams. His cousin, Joshua Robinson was not as fortunate, receiving a 10 year sentence for the murder. Robinson beat a charge which accused him of having disposed of Williams' body, allegedly dumping him in into the Hudson River after the shooting of which Joshua was convicted.
