An 18-year-old student plans to sue a police officer and the city after he was struck with a baton after a fight inside Progress High School in Brooklyn.
Video footage obtained by NY1 News shows NYPD Officer Kareem Phillips striking Yordy Aragonez with a baton after the teen was involved in a fight.
The incident happened back in December after Aragonez claimed other students jumped him. The teen states he thought the officer was coming to help him. The Internal Affairs Bureau is reviewing the case.
