Saints Player Will Smith Dined With Killer of His Murderer's Father

This story is getting more bizarre. Saints Player Will Smith, who was killed last Saturday, had dinner with the officer who killed his alleged murderer's father.

Cardell Hayes, the suspect in Smith's murder case, had his dad taken away from him in 2005 by the New Orleans Police Department. Afterwards, he sued the NOPD and was allotted a "large" sum of money in the settlement from 2011. Former Officer Billy Ceravolo, who  was named in the case of Hayes' father's death, had dinner with Smith on the night of his death. Ceravolo, who retired from the police force after 25 years, shared that he was with Smith before Hayes rear-ended the pro footballer. Smith's wife, Raquel, was also wounded in the incident.
