Actor Terry Crews has taken full advantage of Facebook's new live streaming feature to bring awareness to the addiction that has plagued him for years. "The subject is 'Dirty Little Secret,'" Crews announced during the first video post. "And for years, my dirty little secret was that I was addicted to pornography."
The rarely discussed condition affected Terry's marriage to his wife, Rebecca King, and eventually led to him going to rehab to resolve the issue. "I felt like the world owed me something," he confesses in the third installment above. In time, pornographic films became a way for him to fill a void of intimacy and made him begin viewing his wife and others as "objects" and "body parts." "I believed that I was more valuable than my wife - as a human being - because I was a man," Crews tells the camera. "And when you believe that you are more valuable than another person, you kind of feel like they owe you. And if they don't do what you tell them, then you're not good enough. And I was wrong."
