Toronto Mayor Jon Tory presented Drake with a key to the city during the NBA All-Star Celebrity game, which he coached alongside Kevin Hart. After the big moment, the rapper told the crowd, "This is one of the greatest moments of my life, if not the greatest," adding, "We have something extremely special in this place. I will never stop loving this city. I will never stop representing this city."
During Tory's speech, the mayor told Drake that the key, "is non-transferable, not even to Lil Wayne," as he referenced a line in "Summer Sixteen," where he rapped, "I might get a key to the city and give it to Wayne/Or give it to one of the young boys to carry the wave."
