Jamie Foxx thought quick on his feet Tuesday night after rescuing a man from a burning car.  Sources say Foxx, 48, pulled a man from the car after he noticed an allegedly intoxicated Brett Kyle was flipped over in a ditch inside his Toyota Tacoma.

The Oscar-winning actor told reporters that he had to do what he felt was the right cause of action. “I’m not a hero, but had to do something,” Jamie Said.  Police said that the 32-year-old man who was pulled from the vehicle had injuries to his neck, head and chest,  which will keep him hospitalized for a while.

Foxx took to his Instagram today to share a picture of himself hugging Kyle’s father, stating “ Met the father of the young man from last night today. This is all that matters. That a man, a son, a brother’s life was spared last night. God has his arms wrapped around all of us…no heroes…just happy fathers.”
