Ever since Iggy Azalea signed to Grand Hustle, Tip has always been there in her defense - that is until she got into a bout with rapper Q-Tip on Twitter. "This is not a chastisement this is not admonishment at ALL this is just one artist reaching to another hoping to spark insight into the field you're in," the legendary emcee tweeted after dropping some knowledge on the Aussie rapper. When asked by the "Ebro In The Morning' crew if he's spoken to Iggy since they parted ways, Tip says "personally, nah," revealing they parted ways "after the Q-Tip thing."
"In her defense, she had a lot thrown at her at one time," Tip continued. "It's very difficult to be the new kid and to be the butt of the jokes." Ebro agreed, calling her the "poster child for cultural theft." "Some stuff they brought upon themselves. In some cases it kind of was just the easiest place to put some pent-up aggression," Tip added.
