The story behind 50 Cent's decision to help make a sequel to "Straight Outta Compton" featuring the stories of Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg and Tha Dogg Pound has been revealed.

In an interview with TMZ Live, Daz Dillinger explains how he spoke with host and comedian Jack Thriller, as well as 50 Cent about his plans. "I just got off the phone with Jack Thriller and 50 Cent," he said. After speaking with Thriller, the two presented the idea to 50 Cent, making it a done deal. "So 50 Cent called and said he really wanted to get involved in it so it's like who else wants to get involved with it."

No details behind Thriller and 50's roles in creating the film have been released. Daz's original idea would have the film focus on the rappers and how the west coast sound shifted during their respective reigns.
