As Bad Azz is preparing to release his new music, the West Coast rapper spoke to VladTV about his thought process on upcoming projects, along with a story about Nas.

The Long Beach emcee revealed that he initially tried to get Nas on his 2001 release, "Personal Business," but the budget was too high. Speaking more on the situation, Bad Azz said that the Queens emcee tried to charge him $150,000 for a verse, which was more than a lot of rappers out at the time.

"Nobody was getting that much for a verse at that time...Snoop Dogg wouldn't even charge me that much for a verse, and Snoop was way [bigger] than Nas and he sold more records, to me."

During the sit-down the "Wrong Idea" rapper spoke about considering himself "as dope as Jadakiss, or doper," which you can hear more about in the above clip.
