New York Giants' Jason Pierre-Paul was recently hospitalized after severely injuring his hand over the Fourth of July weekend.

According to several sources, Pierre-Paul was near Miami when he attempted to set off fireworks and badly burned himself. The defensive end - who was offered a $14.8 million contract by the NY Giants - was taken to Broward Health North shortly after and was placed in the intensive care unit. Updates on his status have varied, as some report that he is stable condition with burns and nerve damage, while others claim he may have lost his hand entirely.

Rolling Out has reported that the Giants may renege on Jason Paul-Pierre's contract depending on the seriousness of his hand injury.
