LA Weekly recently reported that gay porn star Teofil Brank, better known in the industry as Jarec Wentworth, stands accused of allegedly trying to squeeze $500,000 from an an unnamed businessman by threatening to share the tumultuous tales of their many alleged trysts.

Court documents have revealed that Brank had sent text messages to the victim commanding, "I'm just going to bite hard. I want a new car, motorcycle and both hands full of cash."

Back in March, Teofil's initial demand was met. However, his voracious appetite for more luxurious items eventually led to his arrest. Following more demands, his benefactor contacted the FBI. A sting operation was conducted and Brank, who at the time demanded the keys to an Audi R8 as well as more cash, was eventually arrested. In a March 20th indictment, Brank was charged with one felony count of extortion by threatening to injure someone's reputation -- a charge that carries a possible two-year sentence.

The court papers refer to the unidentified sugar daddy only as "D.B.," and since his arrest, Brank's attorneys have been working hard to get D.B.'s full name added to the record. They claim that the public should be made aware of who was paying Brank for his sexual services.

Be that as it may, D.B.'s attorneys have moved to block that request; they believe that his rights as a victim would be compromised if his identity is revealed. They are working to secure an order to keep their client's name withheld until the time of a trial. A brief filed by federal prosecutors supports D.B.'s attorney's request.
