While the New York Knicks are literally in last place in the Eastern Conference and the NBA, Carmelo Anthony is one baller on the team that fans can say at least tried to pull his weight. Unfortunately, Anthony won't be hitting the court again this season due to his troublesome left knee that has been giving him issues all season.

The Knicks announced today that the team's orthopedist will perform a patella tendon debridement and repair Melo's knee. Melo's last action on the court was at the NBA All-Star Game where he put up 14 points in 30 minutes of play. The Knicks' record currently stands at 10-43.

Take a look at Carmelo above.
