TLC members Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas explained to VladTV about how they hooked up with J. Cole for "Crooked Smile." The ladies reveal that the rapper reached out to them to do the song, and Chilli says the vocals reminded her of another version of their hit, "Unpretty."
The two also praised Cole's new album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, and Chilli says that every song on the project was relevant, which she believes is rare.
