Video has surfaced of Ray Rice and Janay Palmer moments after their domestic abuse incident with Janay trying to kiss Rice while being handcuffed by police.

ABC News obtained the video from the now-closed Revel Casino in Atlantic City where Janay was knocked out by the former Baltimore Ravens player earlier this year. The video shows the couple in the custody of the police. Janay is seen shaken but angry after the incident and was placed in a wheelchair by officials. Before getting handcuffed by police, Rice tries to talk to his then fiancee, but she refuses.

After being placed presumably in the same elevator the attack took place in, Janay is seen getting close to Rice as they share a kiss. The cops place the couple in separate police cars after exiting the lobby. The couple was charged with assault. Since there was little evidence to support Janay's charge, it was eventually dropped. Rice's charge rose to aggravated assault.

Peter Ginsberg, Rice's attorney says the release of the video does little to help the athlete and his family move forward from the incident.

"This is a time of healing and he, quite naturally, doesn't want another media showing of what must have been the worst event of his life," he said.

Since the incident, Ray and Janay have been vocal about domestic violence and assured the public that they've never had a physical altercation prior to the elevator incident. Rice successfully appealed his NFL suspension and is hopeful he will be welcomed to a team soon.
