This year's BET Hip Hop Awards brought the laughs, the cyphers and powerful moments that summarized the year in music, politics and more.
With performances from newcomers Bobby Shmurda, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, and more the audience was brought to their feet.
Other memorable moments included Common's touching memorial to Michael Brown with the late teen's parents. With public outcry rising from the protests in Ferguson, the moment brought a somber, heartfelt tone to the show.
Fans were also surprised to see Queen Latifah, Brandy, YoYo and MC Lyte take the stage to perform the remix to Brandy's hit "I Wanna Be Down."
Besides the huge showstopping moments, fans were able to make jokes on Wiz Khalifa's cypher outfit, Rich Homie Quan losing his shirt and more.
