Sadat says he agrees with Spike's side of the argument, revealing that he's currently living in Bed Stuy and is seeing the gentrification occur firsthand. He says most of the things he's seeing are disrespectful, including certain groups knocking on doors to ask about purchasing the building.
When the question is brought up about keeping "Bed Stuy Do or Die" intact, Lord Jamar says those are dumb statements. He adds that "evolution only means prescribed change,' and says that arguing against gentrification is about having pride in the "fabric that's been established for generations" in the neighborhoods.
