With all of the ongoing drama between Math Hoffa and Dizaster following their KOTD BOLA 5 fight, Daylyt has announced on Twitter that he will be officially retiring from Battle Rap. He posted a vlog addressing the beef brewing between the two rappers as well as the East vs West Coast, and Day eventually issued a challenge of his own to Dizaster, to fight him 1-on-1 if Diz refuses to fight Math. Day made the challenge with hopes of restoring balance in the world of Battle Rap once again. Dizaster accepted Daylyt's fight challenge, and the pair of long-time friends have been going back-and-forth about the beef on Twitter, where Daylyt also made a shocking announcement regarding his future in the sport.
Amid all of the fighting drama, Daylyt swore on his own son's life that he is going to be retiring from Battle Rap. He announced that his battle vs Charlie Clips at KOTD's BOLA 5 event was going to be his last battle, and that he will be focusing on his music from now on. This announcement is interesting due to the fact that Daylyt told VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about a broad lineup of battles he has coming up in the near future.
Do you think Daylyt is serious about retiring from Battle Rap, or is he just trolling? If he is trolling, do you think that he went a little too far by swearing on his son that he won't battle again?
