Jay Z and Mariah Carey have been good friends since her "Heartbreaker" days, and now the two superstars are gearing up to push new beverages targeted to their separate fanbases.

Go N'Syde will be distributing "Butterfly" for Mariah Carey and "40/40" for Jay Z. Carey's drink will target young to middle aged women, and Hov's will reach sports-loving men. The bottles are currently sold in select Walgreens and Duane Reade drugstores with intentions to expand throughout the summer. At $1.99 a pop, the bottles also contain a tie-in that allows customers to point a smartphone at the label and access exclusive content from both artists.

"I never dreamed that I could have an interactive experience with my fans while drinking my own beverage," added Carey in a statement. "The whole concept is innovative and refreshing and the drink is beyond."

While Mariah has been seen publicizing her new product, Jay has chosen to focus his energy on pushing his D'usse cognac. Still, the name recognition Jay brings could be publicity enough.
