At the tail end of 2012, French Montana was caught in a strange situation after he was approached by Dopeman, who tried to place some drugs in the "Pop That" rapper's possession. Young Dopeman had been in contact with French, and when they met up at a Waffle House, he tries to place a laptop full of dope with the rapper.
Young Dopeman approaches an SUV that French is in, hands him a laptop, and says "check out my demo." When French looks inside and sees the dope, he doesn't want any part of what's going on. After looking in the bag, he says, "What the f*ck is this? You got me on camera doing some wild sh*t. I don't want that sh*t. What the f*ck is that."
The camera then splits away from French and cuts to Young Dopeman running to his car and getting away from the situation.
