Apple's possible deal to buy Beats Electronics has everyone praising super producer Dr. Dre. The famed music mogul bragged about his deal Thursday, proclaiming himself to be Hip Hop's first billionaire.
Financial critics have stated in the past that Diddy would be Hip Hop's first billionaire. With his Ciroc line, record label, clothing line and plenty of other businesses, the mogul has topped the Forbes annual Hip Hop Cash Kings list with a net worth of over $700 million. As of 2013, Jay Z had the No. 2 spot with a net worth of $475 million. With Dre potentially making one billion dollars off of the $3.2 billion purchase of Beats, he will beat both artists to the Billion Dollar Club.
