Shovel Girl's 15 minutes of fame have come to a screeching halt.
According to TMZ, the fight involving Miranda Fugate getting hit in the head with a shovel has gained national attention, including that of the Miami, Ohio police. A representative of the Miami County Sheriff's office announced that a deputy has been given the assignment to investigate and plans to visit the teens' high school.
Police have also announced that the girl who threw the shovel could be charged with assault or disorderly conduct.
Since the fight was on the other girl's lawn, Miranda may face trespassing charges as well.
