Vh1's "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" team was asked to beef up the security to reduce the risk of "ratchet" activity taking place, according to TMZ. The decision was passed after Lil Scrappy reportedly had to be separated from new cast member and alleged baby mama Erica Pinkett.
The two got into a fight after Erica threw wine in Scrappy's face, and producers thought it would be best to amp up security while filming. The decision was also affected by past incidents in which civilians have tried to attack cast members.
One cast member told TMZ,"That s*** gets ratchet and now the bodyguards shutting that s*** down."
