Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's Erica Dixon recently talked to Hello Beautiful about the show's new season, where she stands with Lil Scrappy, and why she believes Diamond is lying about her relationship with the rapper.
In the interview, Erica mentions that a lot of the claims Diamond made in her interview with The Breakfast Club were fabricated in order for the femcee to garner attention for her reality show, Sisterhood of Hip Hop.
In her interview, Diamond said she was abused emotionally, financially and physically by the rapper.
"I feel like she's saying that because she needs a little shine and if that's the case why are you just now speaking about this?" she said. "This was something you would never speak about at the time so why are speaking out now? Oh you're on a new reality show. Right...I'm not dumb by a long shot. I get it."
Erica also said that Diamond never helped parent the child Erica has with Scrappy.
"The only thing was that I had a problem with was that she said she raised my daughter," she said. "[Emani's] mom and dad have always been there. Period. I was around when he was in a relationship with her. Diamond, you and I both know how that relationship went and things that went on. I could do an interview and put so much out there, but for what? Keep it real. You don't have to fabricate anything to make yourself look a certain way."
The reality star is no longer in a relationship with the rapper but will showcase her new life and dress line on the show.
