Did Justin Bieber's criminal past almost hold him back from touching down in the States?
According to reports, the "Confident" singer was detained at the LAX airport earlier Thursday night after reaching the country by way of an Air Singapore flight from Tokyo.
Sources tell TMZ, customs acted fair in detaining the singer as the typical 'secondary' customs search is common for individuals with a troubled rap sheet. Bieber was questioned for over two hours about his criminal record, including his DUI arrest in Miami and the alleged egg throwing incident in LA.
It looks as though Justin kept his cool. He was seen leaving the airport and hopping in a black van with his friends and bodyguards.
