Ceddy Bu, a southern rapper who was also known as the "The Rap Sumo" died in a car accident last night in Louisiana.

According to WBRZ, the rapper was killed when the car veered off the road and crashed into a pole. Bu wasn't wearing a seat-belt and was killed instantly. The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital in Iberville, Louisiana. He was not wearing a seat-belt either. Police believe that 'excessive speeding' may be to blame for the accident.

Police are currently investigating to see if both men had alcohol in their systems.

Ceddy Bu was popular in his hometown for the single "Mr. Big Stuff." He was 24 years-old.
