Seeing as how the rap game is intrinsically competitive, it was only common sense to place multiple rappers on a track together. And as evidence will show, nothing fuels debate better than the aforementioned.Henceforth why 2013 is perhaps one of the strongest years in recent memory when it comes to guest rap verses.

It seems like rappers really thrived off the features this year, with young stalwarts like California's Vince Staples bubbling in part for their contributions on a track rather than their solo output. We all already know what Kendrick Lamar did to Big Sean's "Control" and the subsequent frenzy it caused, but he wasn't the only one having listeners rewind back to their part.

Collaboration tends to make songs better, too. Would "Versace" be as hot if Drake didn't jump on the track? Would Rocko's "U.O.E.N.O." have made as much of an impact without Wiz Khalifa's spitfire bars? Either way, enough with the rhetorical questions and let's get right into the verses.

In the above slide VladTV has put together 25 of the best guest rap verses of 2013. You may agree, you may disagree, but one thing is for certain -- it's been a terrific overall year for verses.
